Would you like to be more competent and comfortable in navigating life
transitions?
Skillful Living is a 13 session program that trains participants in a
variety of skills including:
- stress management
- decision-making
- conflict resolution
- social networking
- cultural conditioning
This program of structured support helps you learn and practice skills
to meet the challenges that life presents. An experienced facilitator will support and direct the group as you explore
this opportunity for individual growth.
The Skillful Living program originated at a women's health center in
Tuolumne County, California, where it received state and federal awards for its positive effect on self-esteem. The
program also has been offered in Swain County, North Carolina, since 1990 and is now available in Asheville, North Carolina.
