Taming the Monkey Mind provides continuing adventures in discovering limiting mind
structures and offers effective techniques for relieving the inherent suffering. You examine the rigid cognitive patterns
with which you habitually respond, then you practice cognitive therapy's cutting-edge skills for dealing with them.
The skills, which are the basis for a mindfulness practice, can be used for self-inquiry as well as spiritual inquiry.
In addition to group work and practice between the six sessions, you agree to meditate
weekly -- alone, if you have the self-discipline; with a group, if you need support.
